A handheld calculator with a structural engineering focus. It helps structural engineers with quick design calculations when they are away from (or do not want to open) their desktop software and spreadsheets. It works on all devices: smartphone, tablet, PC and Mac.
Concrete Section Design
Made for the desktop (but also works on your tablet and phone), this application designs reinforced concrete beam sections. It calculates the required reinforcement in rectangular and T-sections to resist bending moment and shear. It can also determine the flexural and shear capacity for supplied reinforcement.

Yes! Centroid works on any device with a modern web browser: your smartphone, tablet, PC or Mac.
We are breaking the mold of having to download and install structural design software on a Windows computer. You can still use your Windows computer, but you do not have to.
And everywhere?
Yes! Centroid needs only an occasional internet connection to synchronise your device date with the cloud. But you can use Centroid anywhere, when on the move, and even on a remote building site with no internet connection.
Each of the Centroid apps is a so-called "progressive web application" (PWA). You can think of a PWA as special kind of website that behaves like a mobile app.You can install it on your computer, tablet or phone and you can also use it without an internet connection.
